INTRODUCTION OF L.V. MIX SDN BHD

L.V. Mix Sdn. Bhd. was set up on 21st January 2008 under the name of Large Version Sdn Bhd. Subsequently, on 4th August 2008, the company changed its name to L.V. Mix Sdn. Bhd. Initially, the company having a issued and fully paid up capital of RM 2.00. On 12th June 2008, the paid up capital was increased to RM 250,000.00 by way of injection of cash.

L.V. Mix Sdn. Bhd. commenced its operation in June 2008. Principal core business can be categorized into Transportation of Cement and Producing Ready Mix Concrete.

BUSINESS FOCUS

The company was set up mainly to capture the “vacuums” market created by the worldwide financial turmoil. As most of the Industry player begin to reduce its production and even suffered losses due to over expansion. The company views this as a golden opportunity to secure the market and position itself as core player in ready mix concrete business in Northern Region. The management has full confident of our government to take necessary steps to overcome the crisis, and we believe the philosophy of “Crisis is Opportunity”.

The management are fully aware of present market, but with more effective marketing strategies, cost control programmers and credit control management, the company believe they can contribute their effort of building the nation during these hard time.

READYMIX CONCRETE

Ready mixed concrete is a composite material which like all well designed composites, has resultant properties which combine the best qualities of the component materials. Typically, ready mixed concrete consist of 4 – 6 components namely : -

a) Ordinary Portland Cement – O.P.C

b) Aggregates – Crushed granite – C.A
- Washed Sand – F.A

c) Water

d) Admixtures – Modifier

As the number of components is increased, so the range of properties and uses are increased, with greater opportunity for optimization and economic benefits.

In L.V. Mix, we produce Ready Mixed Concrete in accordance with MS523 / BS 5328 and internal Quality Control System.

TRANSPORTATION OF CEMENT

L.V. Mix Sdn. Bhd. started its business in cement transportation in early of year 2008 when it was only 8 units of cement tanker.

Until today, we manage to increase the number of cement tanker until 23 units which able to supply and transport cement material from cement plant to whole Malaysia. Our major cement suppliers are YTL cement and CIMA.

Obviously, with the advantage of cement transportation, our concrete plant will not have any insufficient of cement.

MANAGING DIRECTOR PROFILE

Lim Ming Shun, aged 45, The founder and main brain of the company. He has been instrumental in the development of the company. From operating a small plant in Nibong Tebal back in June 2008, the company has quantum leap to present operating 5 plants.

Mr. Lim has wide experience in ready mix concrete industries, having exposed in this field for over 25 years. Prior to setting up the company, he is managing 4 other batching plant in Seremban under the name of Sterling Glory Sdn Bhd, Sterling Glory Mix Sdn Bhd and Super Sterling Mix Sdn Bhd together with other partners.

Mr. Lim is well known for his hard work and commitment to his customers. From a humble beginning as general worker in construction field during his young age, he successfully gained the experience and knowledge also the trust of the suppliers over a short period of time. With the good reputation he gained, he was offered the opportunity to manage and operate a small batching plant in Seremban back in 1993. From there, he expands to 4 batching plant in a period of 5 years.

As managing director of L.V. Mix Sdn. Bhd., he is responsible for the overall strategic business direction of the company.
